Statement of Significance

Architecturally intact Edwardian weatherboard cottage all the more important for being one of a pair.

Physical Description

Dwelling has been demolished.
This is one of a pair of Edwardian weatherboard cottages with ornate pierced screens below the
verandah handrail. The negative image being more dominant than the positive it is only on close
inspection that the screen is actually revealed as a cut-out silhouette of balusters. Iron/zincalume hipped
roof with a skillion over the verandah and a small ornamental gable to the central front. The gable is
filled with corrugated iron. This house has a post and rail fence and garage built in front of the house.
The northern wall appears to be asbestos sheeting. Cement steps rise up to the verandah.
