The site of the Coorow Railway Station and associated structures has historic significance given its association with the Midland Railway company and well known builder and entrepreneur Gustave Liebe.
Original structure demolished in 1989 and replaces with the present timber framed
and fibro rectangular structure.
Originally a Class 3 station on the Midland Railway Company line the structure
incorporated living quarters for the station master.. The building was constructed by Augustus Liebe under contract to the Midland Railway Company, being timber framed with weather-board cladding.
Adjacent was an underground water tank with hand pump.(Source: H. Bothe).
