Esperance Railway Precinct is an important reminder of the history of Esperance as a port and town.
Esperance Railway Precinct is a group of railway and port related structures which includes: the Bonded Store and Goods Shed built in 1895 (enlarged in 1896, c.1902 and 1980s); Station Building (1926); relocated timber and iron Waiting Room (c.1946); six-ton fixed crane; mobile crane; and railway tracks, in a landscaped parkland.
The Esperance Railway Precinct was established during the early twentieth century to enable th town, and many neighbouring agricultural and mining regions, to important and export goods, and to transport people.
