The Bodallin Primary School was first used as a school on 19 May 1924. The first teacher is noted as being there from March 1924 - July 1924. As the school was the only large building in the district, all the dances were held there with people coming from all over. Mrs Dorothy Murray was brought down from Noongar to play the piano. A newer building was first used in March 1961 and the old one became the library and resource centre.
The School is a one-roomed building with a small verandah at the front. There is a wash basin and a wooden bench seat along the wall next to the door. An extension appears to have been added to the back wall.
