Statement of Significance

The tree that once stood at Snake Tree Corner was washed away in heavy water, so Mr. Dinnie resurrected the tree and placed its stump with the snake carved on it in a paddock near the corner of his farm. The corner is still known as Snake Tree Corner.

A corner in the road where a tree with Aboriginal carving of a snake once stood.
