History
It is not known when the house was built. A 1939 diagram shows 2 Coventry Parade as being a weatherboard house with full length front and rear verandahs. At this time, there were only four houses on the southern side of Coventry Parade, numbered sequentially.
This place was identified by the Fremantle Society in 1979/80 as being of cultural heritage significance. (Coded: Brown: "Positively contributing to the built environment")
An application for demolition of the house was supported in 1984.
