Statement of Significance

The old swimming pool has historic and social significance for its role in the recreational activities of Mount Magnet residents in the past.

Physical Description

This large cement lined pool is located immediately west of Mount Magnet. A 'slip pole' is positioned across the width of the pool. The cement lining has crumbled in places to reveal the rock and sand internal construction. A ladder of the diving board is at the deep end of the pool.
