House, 136 Solomon Street is a single storey masonry and tile house constructed in the Federation Bungalow style of Architecture. The walls are rendered brick. The roof is hipped and gabled and clad with tiles. There is a semi enclosed porch created by the protruding gable roof and a masonry balustrade, with glazing over. There is a low brick wall to the front boundary line and a side addition in brick which creates a carport understory. Vegetation prevents further description of the front elevation
Solomon Street was originally known as Mary Street. It changed its name in 1951/52 to honour Elias Solomon, a former mayor and MLA.
Lot 8 of 35 CSL 7 appears to have been owned by Frank Biddles and passed into his estate between1933-1935.
