Statement of Significance

The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics,
makes a positive contribution to the Guildford Road streetscape. It
is an example of Inter-War suburban settlement.

Physical Description

A hip roof house with a heavy arch leading onto the verandah. The verandah
extends round two sides of the house and is supported on concrete stanchions.
The windows are lead lighted and are double hung sashes set in groups of three.
It has stucco and face brickwork and a timber framed tiled roof.

History

Inter-war suburban settlement. This is an imposing large scale residence with high
aesthetic values that contribute to the streetscape.
