The dwelling is representative of postwar development along a major road within Bayswater.
This brick and tile residence with typical porched entrance was popular in the Post War years in Perth's newer suburbs.
This house is representative of the building trend of the late 1930s which continued well into the 1950s. Grand Promenade was something of a showpiece road, and this corner block would have been a sought after site.
