position next to other houses 7 and 3 of similar vintage in what is proposed as an heritage precinct.

Physical Description

Dwelling has been demolished.
An Edwardian "Queen Anne" bungalow [1913-5] set among mature trees in an elevated position on the
corner of Alexandra and Parry Streets. The hipped, broken-back roof has gablets and two gables. The
gables have a curving half-timbered finish which is now painted white. The tall chimney stacks have
roughcast detailing on brick with decorative brick inserts to the render. The walls are tuckpointed red
brick with two string courses of stucco. An angled bay window faces south east. These casement
windows are filled with paned leadlight. The front door has stained glass in the light above and the lights
to the side. The wooden verandah has turned wooden posts with small fret-worked brackets. The railings
are a modern addition not in keeping with the original.
