The house was built for the Elverdton Mine Manager. It was moved down the hill from Desmond lo its present
location by Arthur Chambers on a jinker with horses. The jinker had three long salmon gums in a triangle with
two wheels on each of the corners.
This is a fine building and well worth restoring.
Integrity: Mostly Intact
Modifications: Moved 1923 to Cordingup Farm
