Statement of Significance

The building contributes significantly to the townscape of Fremantle and is of historical importance.

Physical Description

The building is single storeyed and constructed of Donnybrook stone and brick. There are stuccoed pilasters and horizontal shadow lines. The parapet has small towers and black swans featured over the main arched entrance hall. The windows and entrance have been elaborately stuccoed. Domed interior - black & white tiled foyer.
