The place is significant for the association with war, and as a commemoration of a local community member
Two curved cement block walls which sweep into the entry gate of the farm, within each wall is an alcove where a lamp used to be.
Stan Goodchild had the brick farm entry built to commemorate his only son
who was killed in World War Two. The lights which were connected to a 32 volt system at the homestead, and were switched on every Friday night.
