The City of Fremantle has identified this place as being of exceptional cultural heritage significance in its own right within the context of Fremantle. This place is entered onto the Heritage Council of Western Australia’s Register of Heritage Places. All development applications must be referred to the Heritage Council for approval.

Statement of Significance

The company which was established in 1854 ha played an important role in the development of Fremantle. It has been classified for historical reasons, for its architectural merit and for its contribution to the scale and character of Fremantle.
Environmentally the building's scale and character is of importance. The building is also of historical importance as it was originally used by the Flower company which contributed significantly to the development of Fremantle. Its stuccoed facade is of architectural interest.

Physical Description

Aa two storey stucco warehouse and office building with a basement, now used as a factory. It has pilasters with Corinthian capitals, arched windows and a dentil cornice below the parapet. Stil with original cedar doors and internal fittings. There are recessed arched entrances on the ground floor and arched windows on the upper level. The facade has been stuccoed particularlary around th windows.
