Statement of Significance
Teds, as part of Katanning Research Station has some scientific and social value as a research station but has little historic value to its recent establishment (1981). The buildings have little aesthetic value and are representative of agricultural research station buildings.
Physical Description
Teds forms part of the larger Katanning Research Station. It consists of a cluster of three othogonally aligned agricultural buildings. It is located 2km from Katanning Research Station.
History
Teds was part of St Claire, a private farm acquired in 2000 by the Department of Agriculture, to be managed as part of Katanning Research Station. Katanning Research Station had been established in 1981 to undertake research into improved livestock (sheep) strains.
