The significance of this site lies in the education brought to the Warralakin District.
Situated on the corner of Hall Road and the Rabbit Proof Fence.
The School was established in 1926 and closed in 1932. Education for isolated areas was homeschool prior to a school building. Geelakin had an average of six-ten children attending. As the enrolment was above eight the Government would establish a school with a certified teacher. If the numbers decreased, an application for an assisted school would be made.
