Statement of Significance

The site is significant on the following grounds: HISTORIC:
1. This wash pool was used by the Newman family who shepherded sheep in the area before the land was taken up by William Warren in 1898/99.

Physical Description

A deep waterhole in the Narrakine Gully. The hole has filled with
sand washed down during floods in winter.
