Some significance for association with early settler and lime-burning industry.
When inspected in 1999 it was a collapsed single kiln, partially obscured by vegetation. Whilst
currently in private ownership the property is to become part of Neerabup National Park.
Mackay suggests that if Lunder's kiln then post 1932 when he arrived in Australia, not 1910 as
indicated in earlier report. Thus it is unlikely to be the oldest in the district as previously suggested.
