Statement of Significance

Deepwell has some local historic significance as an early water supply for neighbouring farm
properties which is still in use today. Further the well is evidence of the use of local stone.

Physical Description

Situated on the property known as "Deepwell", the well is a stone
lined structure with a windmill standing over it. The well is still in use today.

History

Local sources indicate that Deepwell provided an early water supply to many neighbouring farmers in the vicinity .
