Historic value: The brickwosks was an important local industry and provided employment and the building material for many of the town's original
buildings.
The brickworks originally consisted of four kilns, a clay pit and a house . It produced wire cut bricks. Only the clay pit and a date palm which formed part of the garden of the house remain today.
