Historic - one of the oldest remaining houses in the Gnowangerup townsite, this
house has had many owners and tenants.
Social - used as a Noongar Centre prior to the building of the new centre.
Aesthetic - represents the style of building for the 1910 - 1920 period.
The old Aboriginal Centre is located next door to the next Aboriginal Centre/Hall
in Aylmore Street, Gnowangerup. Currently a proposal to convert this building
into a Noongar Craft Centre is being considered.
MODIFICATIONS Original structure not altered a great deal.
