Physical Description

The cream brick construction has a tiled roof. The gable roof forms a pavilion like structure
along the Naughton St frontage, with accommodation at the Lynch St end, two ambulance garages at the
west end and the Nursing office central within the building.

History

In 1967, the Hyden Progress Association was asked to facilitate the
establishment of the Nursing Post which was subsequently opened in April 1971.
