Timber trestle bridge.
The original railway bridge was in place by 1895, when a picnic and dance were arranged to take place on the river bank near the railway bridge. Two hundred guest arrived by train at the Coolingup station, and in the evening, while the guests were waiting for the train, an impromptu dance was enjoyed in the goods shed, (some distance form the bridge).
