1906 Phillips River Times reported that George Dance was working on a new Town Dam employing
20 men. 6 drays aad 2 scoops. The dam is siili in use.

Physical Description

The dam has been enlarged on several occasions. 1907 it was enlarged to 5,000.000 gallons.
1994 it was enlarged to hold an extra 20,000 El.
