This restored 1903 house is one of a group of two storey houses of streetscape value in this part of w_
South Cottesloe.
This two storey house, possibly once had filigree, c 1903 it has a hipped broken-back corrugated iron
roof. A squat, plump brick chimney stack has corbelling but no chimney pots. The second storey doors
are all french with two lights above heavy wooden panels. Downstairs the same. Verandah posts are
square with chamfered edges. The railings are crossed members and probably new. Three tongue and
groove boards are used as a frieze below the second storey verandah. The walls are painted
tuckpointed brick. The brick headings above the doors are slightly arched. The house is set below street
level so part of the ground floor is screened from view by a rose and lavender garden and a small
spreading tree.
