Statement of Significance

15th March 1906 Robert Dunn wrote to the Phillips River Times with advice of a good fresh water site he knew of on the Cordingup Creek. He had discovered this many years before whilst carting Sandalwood in Skin Ann Harbour.

Physical Description

1909 Phillips River Road Board had a major dam planned. Cordingup Dam has a pumping station and it is still in use today. Capacity 20.000,000 gallons in 1909.
