The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics, makes a positive contribution to the Guildford Road streetscape.
This place is representative of early development within Mount Lawley.
The house has a thrust bay and a corner verandah and is tuck pointed to the dado, which has a rough cast rendered upper wall. The roof and sun hoods have tiled roofs with chimneys with intact chimney pots. The verandah has masonry piers and a scalloped balustrade.
