Statement of Significance

Of streetscape significance having become synonymous with Cottesloe. Ratepayers had applied for
these trees from the Forestry Department c 1905. They had planted and maintained them.

Physical Description

Broome Street Trees from Napier to Forrest Street, to Grant Street
Rows of Norfolk Island pines lining either side of Broome Street for most of its length.

History

In 1905 2,300 assorted trees were in the nursery.
