Statement of Significance
The site of the Australian Workers Association Hall.
History
This iron clad building was opened on 3 November 1910. The Association had 300 members in February 1913. Pictures shows were sometimes shown in the Hall by a visiting company and in 1914, the AWA Hall began open-air picture shows held on Monday and Thursday evenings.
