Statement of Significance

Original timber & iron building was demolished for the intended building WA Bank which fell through, and then in 1927 the Bank of NSW purchased the lot and constructed the building some time between 1927-1930. Architecturally significant due to its structure and development significant
as it was one of three banks in Goomalling in the 1930's.
