This was the original Methodist church in Mosman Park and continued to be a church building after the brick church was built in 1929-30. Although much of the original materials have been replaced, the church retains its basic form. It has played an important part of the spiritual and social life of the community.
Weatherboard and fibro building with a gabled, asbestos roof and brick and timber foundations. A small entry porch with steps on the north. Three buttresses to the east side.
Most of the weatherboard replaced in 1952. Brick replacement foundations. Entry porch and steps changed.
