Statement of Significance

This is one of a number of houses in this street which are of heritage value in a heritage precinct
Part of the post WW1 boom.

Physical Description

Edwardian bungalow c 1916-25 with a strong Tudor influence. The hipped corrugated iron roof is
dominated by two staggered half-timbered gables which project to cover a porch. The front gable has
slatted eaves. The windows are casement in sets of threes indispersed with french doors. They are
multi-paned with hopper windows above. Stone piers support the paired wooden columns of the elevated
verandah. Wooden handrails with square wooden balusters are placed between the piers. The house is
elevated above the front of the block and set amongst mature trees behind a ti-tree brushwood fence.
