Statement of Significance

This type of system is significant to the area suplied on the spot in providing a natural supply of water to the community.

Physical Description

A small dam can be seen close to the well, with two aluminium tanks close to the base of the rock near the well. Geeraning Rock situated north of the Shire and approximately 1km from the road. This magnificent rock has a large clearing. The well is very close to natural bushland and has been fenced off. The well is circular and has a great example of dry wall stonework. The waterr seeps through the rocks like an underground spring there is approximately 2 metres of water in the well.

History
