The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics, makes a positive contribution to the Guildford Road streetscape. This place is representative of early development within Mount
Lawley.
A symmetrically planned house with a central corridor and two bay windows that extend into the full width front verandah with its bull nosed roof. The gables are half timbered and the windows are paired, double hung sashes. The verandah has turned posts. It has rendered brick walls and a timber framed, double gabled iron roof.
A grand scale house, modified through time, which retains its dignity, its aesthetic value and makes a positive contribution to the Guildford Road streetscape.
