Statement of Significance

The building is architecturally significant because it is well proportioned and well executed. It has historic constructional interest also since it was one of the first buildings to use the locally quarried stone. Stone is no longer an economical building material nor is it likely to ever be again and as more are being demolished all the time, few examples as good as this remain.

Physical Description

A large country church constructed of the so-called Donnybrook stone. It features a Rose Window with stained glass infill panels. It is roofed with corrugated iron at a pitch of about 45 degrees.
