The place is significant for the following values:
Historic Value: The general store has historic significance as one of the first commercial building in Burekup.
Social Value: The General Store has social significance to the community for it's long association with the Bukerup settlement.
A 1914 timber single storey general store and residence with a high parapet wall to the front concealing the roof behind with angled front shop awning supported on circular metal posts.
Completed on the 3rd August 1914.
