Statement of Significance
The place is a good example of a rendered masonry residence in the Federation Bungalow style, representing the expansion of Fremantle in the Post World War I period.
The place contributes to a substantially intact late nineteenth and early twentieth century streetscape close to the centre of Fremantle.
Physical Description
Single storey tuck pointed brick and rendered banding house which is set above the level of the pavement. The roof is terracotta tile hipped and gabled with decorative timber and the verandah is supported by decorative timber posts and balustrading.
History
In 1918/19 a cottage was erected on the lot. Alice Pearse was the first owner, followed by S.F.E. Rennie. The first occupant was Richard Rennie.
