Social value: The site is of note for its illustration of an aspect of the Brookton community's' involvement in the two World Wars.
Formerly a rifle range then a motorbike scrambling track and now disused.
The range was originally established at the time of WWI and came into use again during WWII. Ammunition was supplied by the Army.
