The buildings form part of the remnant building stock which make up the historic town's fabric.

Physical Description

A small shop (1930s) and attached cottage probably c.1910. The shop has the original re-entrant door and brass window framing. The original bullnose verandah posts have been lost. The cottage has some alterations. These buildings are located within one of the traditional commercial areas in the town.

The building is a component of the historic commercial centre along James Street.
