The RSL Memorial Hall has been a community focus in the town for more than 50 years and constructed as a memorial to those who lost their lives in war.
A single storey symmetrical auditory style building with an Inter-War Art Deco style rendered/painted facade. The facade features strong vertical and horizontal lines and is divided into three bays with engaged piers, a dominant cnetral entry porch with a rounded arech and flanked by tow bays each containing decorative motifs and detial in the Art Deco manner.
Built in 1932, for use as a public hall as well as a separate room for RSL use. The foundation stone was laid by Ross Mclarty MLA. Reserve 8746 was originally gazetted on 30 October 1903. On 24 April 1931, the reserve was vested in the Drakesbrook Road Board.
