The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics, makes a positive contribution to the streetscape. This place is an example of a workers cottage.
A modest single storey narrow house with a single gang corridor and gabled roof. It has a full width verandah with posts brackets and a timber fret work valance. The verandah has a replacement concrete floor. The house pairs with its neighbour at number 37. It has tuck pointed brick and stucco walls and a timber framed iron roof.
