Historic, Social, Aesthetic and Representativeness
• Rectangular building, on stumps;
• Timber frame with painted weatherboard cladding;
• Pitched gabled roof - corrugated iron;
• Entrance porch with gabled roof;
• Timber ramp for access, and;
• Timber window frames.
The history of the Walpole area provides an interesting backdrop for the
history of this Anglican Church building.
This church is a good example of a community building constructed in
the late 1950s. It was largely due to the efforts the local minister, George
Kingston, who came from Denmark, that the church was built.
