The site represents a way of life and continued association with the settlers.

History

The Monks built wells throughout the country side to provide water for their pastoral stock. B Gregory took up land as part of the World War I land Settlement Scheme and discovered the well on the border of a dry creek bed. The well had water but it was sa;ime.
