The Arrino grain silos have significance for their role in the economic development of the district and impact of the agricultural industry.
Two large rectangular steel sheds situated east of the Midlands Road and running north and south. There is a grain elevator above the centre of the southmost shed. The sheds are painted white.
A wheat shed on this site was demolished in order to construct the first bulk handling facilities in 1936. This shed was used demolished in 1986. Additional sheds were added in 1960 and 1974. The 1960 shed was demolished in 1992 to allow construction of the current facility. Arrino Grain Receivals: 1936/37 1792.63 tonnes 1950/51 8072.54 tonnes
