The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics, makes a positive contribution to the Guildford Road streetscape. This place is representative of early development within Mount
Lawley.
A Federation Queen Anne style house, with half timbered gables and a surrounding verandah with graceful, decorative fret work. It has a diagonal thrust bay room onto the verandah and is very close in design to its neighbour at No. 61. It has tuck point brick walls and a timber framed, steeply pitched tiled roof.
A grand scale house which retains its dignity, its aesthetic value and makes a positive contribution to the Guildford Road streetscape. It pairs strongly with No. 61 to the east.
