When the Methodist Church could no longer support a minister in the Jarrahdale Circuit, the area became part of the Pinjarra Circuit. In the 1960s, the Methodist Churches in Serpentine-Jarrahdale joined the Byford Presbyterian Church to form the North Murray United Parish. [Refer SJ1-02]
