Statement of Significance

Historic - the Borden .Agricultural Hall was opened on July 12. 1928. 'its opening consisted of an
afternoon sports meeting followed by a high tea and concluded with, a Grand Ball with the Minister for
Lands. MF Troy as the officiating dignitary.
Social - used as a meeting place and function centre.

Physical Description

The Borden Agricultural Hall is located opposite the Borden Primary School in the Borden townsite.
Used for social functions within the Borden area, Weatherboard, timber, asbestos walls with an iron roof
