Physical Description

Nobby s Well consists of a large square iron tank which once contained water. The tank is set in a concrete bed containing distinctive coffee rock. The tank was manufactured in the US and is marked with the manufacturer's name - ISC A Foundry, Co. Newport, Montana. The origin of the tank is not known. The tank is located on the old stock route leading from to Derby to the Fitzroy river and Broome.
