An historic site associated with the first explorers and early prospectors in the area.
History
Assessment 1976
'Originally an aboriginal water hole, the soak was 'discovered' by Lefroy 1863 and became an important watering place for explorers and prospectors. At some later date it wa constructed as a well (sstone lined)
